The Honolulu Zoo’s Histories & Mysteries Tour

The Honolulu Zoo offers a unique opportunity to explore its haunted history through guided walking tours. Limited to 25 people per tour, these events provide an intimate experience where guides share stories of supernatural occurrences within the zoo.

Trial of Fears Haunted House

Oct. 11 - 13, 18 - 20, 24 - 27, and 31 - Nov. 2. 

Presented by Waikiki Trolley, Trial of Fears has been voted Hawaii's Best Haunted House! Try to escape the deranged Dr. Delerio and his terrifying staff as you wander this walk-through interactive house of horrors. Throughout the tour, you'll encounter three escape room-styled experiences that will push your adrenaline to the brink! This frightful experience is appropriate for everyone ages 10 and up. Royal Hawaiian Center’s Halloween Keiki Costume Contest

This annual event at the Royal Hawaiian Center is a hit among families. Children up to 10 years old can participate in the costume contest, with categories ranging from infants to parent-child combos. Spook Life Park: A Marine Halloween

Sea Life Park transforms into a Halloween wonderland on this special weekend in October. The park offers a variety of activities, including character photo ops, face painting, and trick-or-treating. It’s a family-friendly event that combines education and entertainment. 

Keiki Costume Ball

Oct. 27 – various times throughout the day

Mark your calendars for October 29th and join the Children’s Discovery Center for a day filled with Halloween excitement. The Keiki Costume Ball offers two sessions, one from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and another from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. During these times, the center will be exclusively open to registered participants. Kids can go trick-or-treating throughout the center and engage in a variety of “spooktacular” games and crafts. Once you register and receive an invoice, you’ll have three days to complete your payment, after which a confirmation email will be sent to you.
