This condo is located on the 18th floor of the Ilikai Hotel. This beautiful condo is the most sought after 43 stack with incredible ocean views off both lanai, whether you want to sun bathe or enjoy a sunset dinner! Nothing was spared in making this the best condo available in Waikiki. The south balcony looks out over the lagoon and Waikiki Beach. You can assess the surf breaks of Kaisers and Ala Moana Bowls from here and decide if you want to go surfing or just relax. Don't forget about the Friday night fireworks show which takes place right in front, off the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon. The west balcony overlooks the Ala Wai Marina and offers the perfect view of the fabulous Hawaiian sunsets.

AMENITIES

My husband and I had a great time here with my parents. This unit worked out really well for us. The view was amazing! Not only the ocean and the city/mountain view, we enjoyed the fireworks on Friday evening! My parents are old and couldn't walk far but it was very easy walk to the lagoon and the beach for them. There are many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance so it was very convenient! The management company was very good with communication too! I would love to stay here again!

Super views from corner unit on 18th floor, lots of windows and two balconies: one facing ocean and one facing marina. Front row seats to Friday Hilton fireworks. Unit was spacious and also had multiple chairs and one table on balcony. Minor negatives: unit is a bit dated, no laundry in unit (laundry near elevator on each floor), very limited toiletries and no staples in kitchen. Views and location make up for it. Communication from Marina Hawaii Vacations prior and during visit was excellent.

Views,views views! The best views of anyplace on the island by far. Evenings we would sit with the lights off and just relax enjoying the ocean and Marina views. Amazing! Unit was furnished comfortably, AC wall units were a little loud as expected. The only negative is the bathrooms could use a better, more thorough cleaning. Some mold around tub and the edges of floors could be cleaned better. Even with that singular issue, we would definitely stay here again!Marina vacation rentals were very easy to work with!

This is a lovely space that was able to accommodate six of us. Amazing views- perfect for watching the fireworks- and a great area to walk in. Bathrooms could use an upgrade but otherwise recommend.

We had the best view in Oahu!! The room was great for four of us. Everything is walking distance which was great. The beach was very short walk from the hotel.

The condo had a beautiful view of the beach lagoon, harbor and Friday night fireworks. The kitchen was not very clean or very well stocked. One of my main search criterias was a laudry facility since I was getting my teenage son from a week long school trip. The laundryrooms were out of order dues to a pipe leaks which was super frustrating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in #1843.

Marina Vacations staff were quick to respond to the kitchen sink leak and broken microwave issues we discovered upon check-in. Sabrina and Bill were pleasant and efficient and fixed the problems in a timely manner but not before the kitchen leak ruined the spare roll of paper towels. The condo unit was spacious and the double balconies were enjoyed. There was a well-stocked kitchen of pots, pans, baking dishes, utensils and gadgets just like home. The dish rack should be replaced. We loved the view and location for easy walking to Waikiki, Magic Island, Ala Moana Beach and Shopping Center. Thank you for having us. We will definitely book through you on our next Hawaii trip!

The view from the condo is stunning with picture windows and lanais facing the ocean and lagoon. It is a short walk to a lagoon and beautiful beach walks. The condo is not fancy but is clean and comfortable. It fronts a harbor, not the beach, which increases the noise level and detracts from the experience a little. The building is a little old and tired but fine. The building has a fitness center but access to it isn't allowed for condo renters. The Marina Vacations staff were helpful and efficient. It's good value for the price, and did I mention the view is *amazing*?

First off it was as advertised. Excellent place. The view is beautiful. There is a lot of stuff to do in the area. The lagoon down stairs has turtles. We swam with them every time we went down there. I walked to the park and the food court across the street from the park. The Hilton was so packed. The Iliki was not. It has a great ice cream and shaved ice place in the lobby called Dave's. Also Cinnamons (a restruant). I would recommend this place. It really was a nice 2 bedroom place. Felt like luxury

A brilliant location overlooking the Hilton and adjacent beach as well as the boat harbor. Could see turtles from the lanai. For those old enough to remember it was like being in opening credits of Hawaii Five-0 (no better location in that building] highly recommended, lots of space. A really good stay.

We enjoy our stay here! The views from both balcony were breathtaking. It was peaceful, quiet and relaxing. It’s also in the center of shops, restaurants, and a few steps from Waikiki beach. One con is the hotel gets really busy during the day and waiting for the elevators can be a few minutes. Same with valet parking. We would definitely rent again on our next visit to Honolulu.

Property is in excellent location , near tons of shops, beaches and restaurants. We walked almost every where. The view is fantastic. You can buy anything at the store inside the building or across the street. The furniture is not new, but in good shape. Staff response right away and is very friendly and welcoming. There are two elevators available besides the main lobby ones. And during pick hours became handy. Love the stay!!!

I really enjoyed our stay . View was amazing. I would have been upset if I got a room on one of the sides but this room was at the end of the tower facing the water . Perfect. I have read other reviews and saw complaints about the sun being too much , the furniture being old and how much the electric stove sucked but as soon as you walk through the front door- BOOM ! Your just taken back by the beautiful Ocean View. First time to Hawaii and it couldn't have been better. Great ice cream shop downstairs that has non dairy option too . The smells coming from the making of the waffle cones !!! Great Coffee shop downstairs, very friendly people ! iI do not normally eat at McDonalds but it was a block away so we tried the rice,spam and Portuguese sausage breakfast they don't have on the mainland - awesome !The store in the Hotel is way overpriced but there is a walmart close by that had everything we needed for our stay plus all the cheap souvenirs you could want along with a Ton of macadamia treats .The double decker bus stops right in front of the hotel and brings you all over Honolulu and Waikiki. Sit on Top and enjoy the views ! The hotel has a warm water pool . We also had access to everything the Hilton Hawaiian village has . Because their pools are cold we actually saw people sneak over to ours ! We rented a mini van and parked in the harbor behind the Hotel . It was really cheap ($1 an hour) and because we drove it all over (and to the north shore) we only paid for 10 hours of parking . Advice : DO NOT pay for the overpriced Luau at the Hawaiian village next door . You can stand less than 50' from the stage and watch the entire show for free. The Luau next door was horrible , Spend the day at the Polynesian cultural center and you will not be disappointed . The Buffet was awesome !!! everything was great !!! Don't pay for the VIP option you will miss the great buffet ! The Ha of Life show was Awesome !!!!!!!! Don't miss it !You can see great from every seat !

This is a great condo. Location is perfect. Incredible sunsets to be seen on TWO balconies. The only thing that bothered us were the air conditionning units. Very old and super noisy. The one in the guest room is at face level, so cant be run when sleeping. But all in all great condo. Thank you very much!

This room has the most amazing views. Watching the sunsets does not disappoint. You have everything you need in this room. Plenty of towels, extra pillows & blankets. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pots & pans, serving bowls, coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, blender & plenty of every day dishes & glasses. Kitchen & bathrooms have been updated. The beds are comfortable. Great host. I would definitely stay in this room again!

I would definitely stay here again. The rental process was simple. The central location is good with lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The beach view tops it all off. The 2nd room is a little cramped, maybe make the twin bed an option, but other than that, this was a great stay!! Highly recommended.

Condo was as beautiful as advertised. Great views and enough space for family of 5. Perfect spot for jogging/walking to Magic Island and Ala Moana Beach. Saw sea turtles while snorkeling the reef out front. Marina Hawaii Vacations management was very responsive and friendly. Really enjoyed a week's worth of sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.

You will love the location and views! Easy contactless check-in, walking distance to everything, equipped to make simple meals and set up for relaxation on 2 separate lanais. Loved sitting on the lanai watching the surf, people, boats in the harbor, lagoon, and nighttime city lights. The laundry facility on each floor was a bonus. The ice cream shop downstairs was delicious, go early to avoid the line. Positioned perfectly to do so many things or just kick back and lose track of time. Would definitely go back to 1843.

The Ilikai was a great location, loved the pools, the lagoon & the beach all being so close. Great place to watch the sunset! Wish the restaurants had been open, but hopefully that will be happening soon. Valets were fantastic and always quick, so even though you have to pay, at least it's efficient! The living room furniture in our room could use replacing, and the master bed was quite hard, but that was on only complaint! Kitchen was great, loved the two balconies being a corner unit. It was quiet. Overall a great stay!

The unit was as expected per the website, it was nicely appointed and had all the necessities we needed. There were 2 items that stood out as needing attention. One table lamp was broken and the 2 chairs had a lot of faux leather peeling off. The view looking over the harbor and beach was beautiful and sunsets spectacular. If I had to share a complaint, it would only be COVID related... the pool area was limited to only 20 guests at a time and owners seemed to be a little favored over others, however, the last 2 days we were there they opened up occupancy, so that should hopefully not be an issue moving forward.

Unit 1843 was absolute perfection. It was exactly as described. The only thing is, we felt that the unit in person is actually more beautiful than it appears to be online! It is super bright and you can tell the person who owns this unit cares and has put love into it. There are 2 white chairs with round backs that are a bit worn, but that will happen with any furniture over time. There was plenty of cookware and dishes, the beds had good quality mattresses (they are firm but we like our mattresses that way) and the unit is located at the very end of the hallway which was a nice surprise, a little extra privacy there. All air conditioners were fully functional. Nothing bad to say at all. 100% would rent this unit again, no questions asked. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your breathtaking condo. It was our first family vacation with our moms! My mom has congestive heart failure and my mother in law is in her 3rd battle with a rare type of ovarian cancer. Hawaii has been on my mother in laws bucket list her whole life. When we first opened the door and she walked in and saw the views, she stepped onto the lanai facing the ocean and cried. Thank you again for letting us stay here and we hope to be back again

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit has all the necessary things for a family stay, kitchen, separate room for master and kids beds, but above all, it's the benefit of a corner unit, with views on both sides. It has a great view to the Hilton fireworks site, but unfortunately the fireworks have been stopped so we didn't get to see it, but still, just watching the sun set from the ocean horizon every day is a really nice way to end a work day.

We have been to Oahu many times, but this is our first stay on Waikiki. The condo is as presented, with a great view of marina, sunsets and ocean. Only problem was the elevator access, when busy early morning or late afternoon, only one or two elevators running. The condo was clean. Sliding doors do not lock, left back burner on stove stayed on, had to do a lot of jiggling to get turned off. Yes would stay here again. Mahalo!

I was surprised that this property was a bit smaller than the photos made it look, but the dimensions are right there on the listing, so THAT was my own perception. The view is open and STUNNING, as in, I don't think there's a better view in all of Honolulu. The unit provided two decks which provided two different views entirely. We loved just having a glass of wine and snacks in the evening at sunset and after dark--in most ocean-front units, after dark, there isn't much to see, but in this unit, the lights of Waikiki are spectacular. There are two bedrooms but one is small and very poorly lit; The owner needs to install better lighting in that bedroom to make it more useable. The front bathroom also needed lighting--it was too dark in this bath to make it usable for grooming at all, although the shower was very nice. The master was very nice, although not huge as one would expect in a luxury property. The master bath was also nice but only had one sink, although there was very nice counter space and it was all nicely remodeled. In a luxury unit, I would have expected a magnifying makeup mirror so I didn't bring along my portable--something the owner might consider adding. The kitchen was perfectly usable as long as you don't want to cook a big meal, and who does that on vacation? It was not stocked whatsoever with any basics so bring your own salt, pepper and sweeteners, also bring coffee and filters which were not provided--we didn't expect coffee so brought our own, but filters should have been in the unit. The openness of the kitchen to the living area and view was lovely and the entire kitchen area was very nicely remodeled with granite countertops. We loved the location because I don't particularly want to be directly on any really busy beach, but by bus or trolley, if you don't want to walk, the main Waikiki beach is very nearby. A short walk in the other direction is Ala Moana mall which is amazing with great stores and lots of good restaurants including some local favorites. I would recommend this for a couple--I think it would be tight with 2 couples if you are used to luxury and lots of space, but it is quite doable for two young couples. Children would fit well in the second bedroom but I would never put my grandchildren in this unit so high up--I think the decks would be scary for kids unless your children are used to living in a highrise. Such a beautiful place with fabulous ambience and views to die for.

The condo, as described by other reviewers, has an exceptional view of ocean and marina. The on-site management was convenient and responsive to our questions/concerns, and the Ilikai property itself is well maintained. The condo however is in need of updating, especially in master bathroom. The couch has many spots where the leather is past it's prime, and there were some throw pillows in serious need of cleaning. That being said, I WOULD stay here again.

We had an amazing stay and this condo was just as advertised. Great views and location! The condo fit our needs perfectly. The only issue we had was with the smoke detector malfunctioning (beeped all night long, like the batteries were dead and we tried the batteries and they were fine). I caught the maintenance guy before the office officially opened and he came up replaced it right away.

This is the most awesome place I have ever stayed in Waikiki. My balcony overlooked the ocean with views of Diamond Head. We had relaxing glasses of wine on the balcony (there is two both with great views) while listening to the ocean waves roll in. We where with five people witch fit comfortably into this corner condo. The kitchen was clean and spacious. We made coffee and breakfast every morning and then got ready to visit surrounding hikes and waterfalls. This island has a lot to offer and don't miss out on the food trucks, especially in the North Shore. The last day me and my friend decided to take a dip in the ocean below the condo and to our surprise there was a big turtle near us to kindly wish us Aloha. I highly recommend this Vrbo and will be back in the near future to enjoy this Island:)

This place blew my expectations out of the water! It literally has 180 degree view of the harbor and beach, so we got to see some of the most amazing sunsets ever! The condo was super clean, decorated super cute, and made everything easily accessible! I would absolutely recommend this place and will be going back to stay here :) so impressed!!
